What is switchable glass?

What are the advantages of using switchable glass?

Can Gen2+ LC® smart films be applied to existing windows?
Self-adhesive PDLC films can be glued to the windows in a space and used to turn these glasses into smart glasses. However, the best results in the installation of self-adhesive films can be obtained by removing the glass and applying the film.
Can switchable glasses be used on wet areas?
With proper insulation, switchable glasses can be easily used on wet areas. TETA offers switchable glass installation services in bathrooms and toilets with its expert technical staff.
Is it dangerous to use electric smart windows in daily life?
GEN2+ LC® films draw low current and operate with 48 V potential. All electrical devices offered by TETA are manufactured in accordance with IEC 60335 (LVD test) directives. TETA smart glasses that are installed correctly are extremely safe to use.
Can I apply self-adhesive GEN2+ LC® films to glass myself?
GEN2+ LC® films can be easily installed by following the installation guide published by TETA. To get the best results, you can get support from TETA Glass Technologies' expert installation team.
When is the best time to incorporate switchable glasses into an architectural project?
Switchable glasses can be included in architectural projects at any time. However, there is a special situation in exterior glass applications on building facade. What should I do if my switchable glass malfunctions?
